Thai fonts

I'm new to FreeBSD. But not new to Unix. Unfortunately that was 50 years ago. Today my needs are simple. I just want to install Thai fonts. This isn't my first port of call. I've tried many things.Just can't get fc-cache or equivalent to work. As always, any help is welcome. Thank you.

x11-fonts/noto-extra should have some Thai fonts included.
