Tell me stories about your dog or cat.

really? that is extremely not our experience. animals are more likely to look into our eyes than humans.
Are you sure? Animals usually see eye to eye contact as a theat, ie like a challenge or a predator... well, I could be wrong of course. Anyhow, I've never seen another cat that will gaze into my eyes for minutes at a time. :)

yes, we know that, and it explains why humans don't like looking into our eyes moreso than why other animals don't.

As someone who used to train protection dogs, (https://srobb.net/dog.jpg) with dogs, a direct stare is definitely a threat, although I would say there's more to it, stance, accompanying motion, etc. I lost my cats many years ago, though I had them for 18 and 20 years respectively, and I don't remember whether they'd gaze in my eyes or not, but they definitely would stare at us when they wanted affection, and were staring at my face, though I don't remember if it was into my eyes or not.

They like to climb up on the desk and walk on the keyboard.

Yes they stare at you, but other cats I've known always look away after a couple of seconds if you try to maintain direct eye contact with them. I think it's an instinctive threat response for most animals... another animal looking directly at you may be a predator. You'd probably feel pretty nervous too if a lion looked directly at you. Dogs can be another exception, if you have a close bond with them, but dogs tend to form a closer bond with humans than cats, in fact I suspect that humans are the pets of the cats, rather than the other way around!

One day in the life of my dog , is the equivalent of one week for me. This is also the reason why sometimes he can be so active.

As for meowing, I think that some species do, but it's mostly towards their mothers. The meow of a domestic cat shows that it looks at us as a mother replacement. (I'm leaving Siamese out of this, they just like to make noise).

About anatomy of dog.
Front legs, flexible , tendons , given direction.
Back legs, tied strictly to hips. Allowing speed.
My sweet Labrador doggy is a killer. Speed & direction. No water-bird is safe from it. When you look at her paws.
[ Ooh, given her strong wood to chew, bad idea, i eat everything she says. Except my hand. Or little childs , she says, let me jump on you and give you a lick.]

Just cleaned my house, making sure , no piece of metal, no piece of plastic, no piece of paper is available. Then let the beast go and observe.
So i say no, then she comes jumping on my lap.
