Can anyone try sysutils/gsmarcontrol it was recently updated to 2.0.2

First it doesn't show nvme drives, the problem is in the source code, the file src/applib/storage_detector_other.cpp line 74 whitelist vector doesn't have an entry for ndaX.

Anyways, it can be installed and run but shows all connected drives as "Unknown model" at least in my two PCs.
 
Yes. After the update, when launching GSmartControl, all drives are marked as unknown.
To display the drive data, I have to perform a "Re-read Data" operation for each drive.
 
Just a FYI:
For nvme, there's nvmecontrol(8) that can extract mostly equivalent or more info as S.M.A.R.T. but in different forms.

As you can see in the manpage, page 0x02 of logpage would be what you usually want. You can see it by
nvmecontrol logpage -p 2 nvme0
for device nvme0 for example.
 
Thank you, reading the S.M.A.R.T. info is not a problem with smartmontools.

It's just that I mostly use it on Windows (to show people a screenshot when their drive has problems) and noticed the difference in behavior. I will report to the developer.
