Sway not launching

Hello,

I'm having trouble getting sway to start using sway -d. I keep getting the error "Found 0 GPUs, cannot create backend, Failed to open any DRM device". I have the nvidia-driver installed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

I had trouble with NVida and Wayland for awhile. I think Alain De Vos is still having issues, though I'm not sure about that. So, first question is are all your Nvidia packages up to date? For me, it started working in October, when a pkg upgrade brought me nvidia-driver, nvidia-drm-kmod and linux-nvidia driver updated to 550.120. If you run service seatd start, does seatd start without errors?

Yes, all my packages are up to date. I turned on seat d and also loaded the driver.

# sysrc seatd_enable="YES"
# service seatd start

#sysrc kld_list+=nvidia-modeset
