Solved steam problem after rl9 switch

Hi everyone,

i have a problem with linux-steam-utlis after the switch to rocky linux. I started to get problems with missing symbols in GTK libraries. so i decided to erase my .steam folder and start from scratch.

Problem is, I fail at the installation with an error from steam:

Fatal Error: Steam needs to online to update. Please your network connection and try again.

im stuck finding out where the problem might be located.

Anyone encounter that too, and have an idea how to further diagnose this?

The solutions was as easy as

Code: 
doas chroot /compat/linux bash
update-ca-trust

That regenerates the ca chains and everything starts working as expected.
