I've installed FreeBSD 11.1, and added the GNOME desktop, but would prefer to boot directly to the command line, upon startup, while keeping the option of typing
I've installed FreeBSD 11.1, and added the GNOME desktop, but would prefer to boot directly to the command line, upon startup, while keeping the option of typing
startx
and going into the gui, when needed. I believe that the file I need to adjust is /etc/rc.conf, but I didn't want to start cutting lines out until I got some advice/input. Any help that you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you!
