StackOverflow has jumped the shark

I stopped using StackOverflow and all the StackExchange sites last year after a heated argument with some of the higher ups about the rules. Some of you may know I was a heavy contributor with moderator privileges.

So I have a problem and was Googling for solutions that landed me on ServerFault--a StackExchange site. I thought to myself that--ok--as long as I'm here, I'll log in for the first time in a year and see if someone knows a solution to my problem. I log in and try to create a question:

You can’t post new questions right now
Sorry, we are no longer accepting questions from your account because most of your questions need improvement or are out of scope for this site. See the Help Center page Why are questions no longer being accepted from my account? to learn more.

Please do not create a new account. Instead, work on improving your existing questions by editing them to comply with the site's guidelines and address any feedback you've received. You can also continue to contribute to the site in other ways, such as editing other posts to improve them.

WHAT?!! I look at my account and see I asked three questions. One in 2010. Another in 2016 and another in 2020. The first got only one answer and that was from me when I found a solution. The second got two answers which didn't answer the question. The third has no responses at all. So what am I to do?

I went to Meta, the Q&A portion to ask about how to use the site, and saw others had the same question. Turns out, you need to also fix questions that you deleted! They keep a history of those and I have six from before 2020 that I deleted cause they weren't going anywhere!

I litererally put my hands to my head and walked around my office saying, "Oh my God!" over and over in disbelief and the insanity of it all.
