Sound gaps with usb dac

Hello all,

I'm experiment sound gaps when listening from youtube via a usb dac FiiO KA5.

sysctl.conf have no changes to system defaults besides:
# Assign the default sound unit to the most recently attached device hw.snd.default_auto=2
and dac is at 48k.

I've tried hw.snd.latency from 0 to 10 with no big improvements.

Is there a tunnable that I'm missing?

I'm using firefox with media.cubeb.backend oss and switching to sndio doesn't seems to improve it.
System is running with no background running like compiling.
