I tried looking for an answer in the Handbook that's been bugging me about packages for some time, but couldn't find it.
I recently submitted a few patches for a few ports that were accepted and as soon as they were checked in, they were available almost immediately as expected.
When checking the binaries distributions via pkgng, they still show the older versions. Clearly the binary distribution can't be made available as quickly as the port, but I was wondering if there was any kind of schedule or a different set of maintainers for the binary packages.
