Solved [Solved] Not open places

Hi,

I installed FREEBSD FreeBSD 9.2 and GNOME 2 , Xorg and GDM and I have this problem:

1. When I open one places [ What? - Mod ] as document this error appears:
   

   no application is registered as handling this file 'file:////root'

2. The mouse icon will remain pending
   
3. Click hide and show desktop button this error appears:
   

   your window manager does not support the show desktop button or you are not running a window manager.

What should I do?

It looks like your GNOME installation is not complete. Did everything install without errors? And how did you install GNOME?

I encountered several errors but I put the required files in the distfiles directory and the problem was solved.

I deinstall/install GNOME 2 from self FTP server and the problem is solved
