Solved [Solved] I would like to read pkg-message anytime by pkg

#pkg upgrade

For example, I get the following message.

This OpenJDK implementation requires fdescfs(5) mounted on /dev/fd and
procfs(5) mounted on /proc.

If you have not done it yet, please do the following:

	mount -t fdescfs fdesc /dev/fd
	mount -t procfs proc /proc

To make it permanent, you need the following lines in /etc/fstab:

	fdesc	/dev/fd		fdescfs		rw	0	0
	proc	/proc		procfs		rw	0	0

I can read this message anytime if I read /usr/ports/java/openjdk6/pkg-message.
Can I read this message anytime by pkg command?
Is there any special command such as "pkg pkg-message foo" for that ?

There's the -D flag for pkg-info(8) that does just that:

firewall ~ % pkg info -D git    
git-1.9.0:
------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you installed the GITWEB option please follow these instructions:

In the directory /usr/local/share/examples/git/gitweb you can find all files to
make gitweb work as a public repository on the web.
...

You can also make an alias pkg message that displays the message. Add this to the ALIAS section in /usr/local/etc/pkg.conf:

  message: info -qD,

Then you can do:

firewall ~ % pkg message git
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*************************** GITWEB *************************************
...
