It doesn't work with 7z, unrar, xarchiver or file-roller. Only ÿþO is in the files.

Solved.

I unzipped it with any of these programs. I could only read it with cat on the commandline, but this works.
 
I download quite a lot and I've always been able to extract rar files with archivers/unrar. The only times I didn't succeed was when the archive was corrupted during download.
 
With less the files are full of ^@ , it seems an encoding issue.
 
No, that's just a binary file. Less shows ^@ for any unprintable character.
 
Sorry I wasn't exact before. If I remove the ctrl-characters I could read the text clearly.
