Hello,

I have FreeBSD 10 with 3 jails installed.
I am setting some security tools on the server and i was wondering if anyone could advise please..

I want to install /security/ossec-hids-server and /security/snort and I just want to know if I can install this two application on the FreeBSD host directly or am I better to install them inside a separate jail?

Could you please highlight the pros and cons?
