Software to draw diagrams

Hello everybody.
I would like to know which software you use to draw diagrams.
Whether it's network infrastructure diagrams or something else.
I use the Drawio software graphics/drawio/.

And what do you use? Are there any good alternatives?

for quickly doing simple diagrams I use libreoffice impress or draw.

for more detailed or precise sketches I use xfig
it looks as old as it is, and needs a bit to get used to it,
but it's vector drawing, and very good to do clean, precise, true to scale, high quality things with lines, circles, boxes, arrows, and text.
it comes with some libraries for diagrams, charts, and other symbols; figures can be exported to all standard formats, including GIF, JPEG, PNG, PDF, EPS, LaTeX, etc.
examples I did with xfig (it can color.)

+1 for dia.
It hasn't been touched for a while which is good, it hasn't been broken by bad ideas and bloatware.

For a more powerful (and ironically, also lighter) alternative, Visio Technical 4 in Windows 3.1 on DosBox is very servicable.

Thank you so much for your advice.
Dia is also a good software.
I remembered why I switched from Dia to graphics/drawio.
The Drawio file can be opened and edited online.
Many people in other departments use Windows and can edit diagrams online.

The nice thing about diagraming things is you can forsee future problems and use a different approach.

For example on my mgmt0 Managment Interface on Cisco Nexus is using DHCP.
What if my firewall goes down. I need to change that to static IP on another subnet. A real managment interface.

I was just cleaning out an old laptop I kept XP on when I noticed my Win32app folder. I have portable versions of some of my Win2K favorites.
Photoshop7 fires right up. Amazing and nice. Sorry to see my last XP install go. Eudora folder back to my early days.
