Solved Simulate io error on specific interface

Hi all !

I'm working on a new exporter for prometheus to push an alertwhen an amount of I/O error is reached on an interface.
But i don't know how to test the alert as i dont know how to create I/O error on network.

Do you any idea ? may i do it from the server or i need to try from the upper layer ? (switch/router..)

I was once able to produce them at will with adding geom classes to the device. Geom_cache, if memory serves right. Adding and removing them while dd-ing from the drive gave hiccups. Hope this helps, but maybe it's fixed.
