Interesting, SMB1 is kind of questionable as that's been pretty broken. But, I guess it could be slightly easier than just installing samba and using mdconfig to mount the ISO to a folder that you'd share.
this is about IPMI. SMBv1 is pretty much where it's at for better or for worse. Obviously for worse. If you need to wrangle things with IPMI you are already dealing with a situation.
