Separating boot from OS

Hi Phishfry,

sorry for the belated response, I overlooked your inquiry. No, I have not upgraded, I am too stupid to make the handshake between the USB and the NVMe work, so I gave up on the upgrade since I cannot use the NVMe as an OS drive.

I have ran across many unruly EFI bios. Don't beat yourself up.
Support for NVMe on the earliest platforms can be spotty.
