Screen tearing

Hi guys, I am using

FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p1 GENERIC amd64

on

ThinkPad x1 carbon gen9 4k-screen version
11th Gen i5-1145G7 (8) @ 2.6GHz
TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]

and with

libva-intel-driver
libva-intel-hybrid-driver
libva-intel-media-driver

drm-510-kmod

I've encountered a screen tear in the middle of my screen, just a line, and it seems like the upper part and bottom part are refreshing at different times causing this.
I've tried all accelmethod in /usr/local/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf and it seems default works best, but still got that tearing when scrolling and watching videos.
P.S. not sure if this is related or not, but I got graphical stuck sometimes, the screen froze for a few seconds but whatever I do will be shown on the screen after that froze.

Any one have any idea what might be causing it?

Did you try to use a composition manager like picom? It helps a lot.

I have tried Compton, it’s not helping. I’ll try picom later. Thank you!

Check that your video driver is well loaded ( kldstat) and that your user belongs to the video group.
