Rkhunter from sources

Why exactly rkhunter has been removed from ports , and since I found up to date sources can I build and install it from there ?

Followed the link you posted, but it seems to be "recently forked" one, and not sure the person forked intends to maintain it in sane (reliable / dependable) manner or not. The latest version linsted in CHANGELOG is at 1.4.6 (20/02/2018).
