Solved rfkill alternative for *BSD?

So, I've managed to connect my laptop to another wifi network, but then on returning home to connect here, find that the wifi hardware switch is off.

Now, in Linux, a quick rfkill used to fix this (once I'd got around the problem of installing it on the machine with no network access).

Is there an alternative on FreeBSD and how do I determine the hardware address?

OK - I managed to solve this with an ubuntu USB live stick that changed the hardware switch. However, I'd still be interested if there is a FreeBSD way of doing this.
