Solved Reverse dependencies of Entire ports packages

Hello guys,

I need a little help.
I need to list all reverse dependencies for a given package.

$pkg info -r my_package

and

$pkg query %ro my_package

They only bring the reverse dependencies that are installed on my machine.
But I need to bring the reverse dependencies from entire Ports structure.
How can I do this?

There's -d and -r. One show the dependencies and the other show who's depending on your package.

Code: 
     -d, --dependencies
             Display the list of packages on which pkg-name depends.

     -r, --required-by
             Display the list of packages which require pkg-name.
 
or like this for all
sqlite3 /var/db/pkg/repo-FreeBSD.sqlite "select d.name as dep,group_concat(p.name) from deps d,packages p where package_id=p.id group by d.name;"

There is ports-mgmt/porttree. It comes with many feature (porttree(1)) but it's a heavy weight program. pkg install reports 762 MiB to download and 3G space on my system.

And there is a simple shell script:

Both can display the reverse dependency of a port in a graphical tree, tree.sh also in a non-tree view. tree.sh can also display the whole ports tree in a tree view.

But I will read about porttre as well. Thanks T-Daemon.

I'm releasing a port that was unmaintained, and the commiter ask me to make a reverse dependents build test with all ports that depend on it. That's why I asked you how to perform this search.

Another, really easy option is to have a look on Freshports. It sounds like this is an existing port, just look it up. Freshports also shows a list of ports that depend on your specific port, as a library, build or run dependency.
