general/other "Reset" Linuxulator

I'd like to start again with my Linux environment on FreeBSD. Currently I have /compat/ubuntu and /compat/linux. Due to some tomfoolery on my part, neither work as desired and are out of date anyway.

How do I get back to zero? Is it as straight-forward as deleting everything under /compat/ and then reinstalling the linux-c6 ports/packages and sorting out /etc/rc.conf?

linux-c6 is long gone, the current Linuxulator userland ports are linux-c7. I'd suggest to uninstall all linux* packages first and then proceed as you wrote yourself.

/compat/linux/ is the default location for linux(4) compatibility run-time, so it should be OK to remove the linux/ directory.

emulators/linux-c6 is dead. Instead, emulators/linux-c7.
