I have reinstalled FreeBSD 8.2 from a DVD purchased from 0SDisc. The DVD installation had the option to install the packages gnome2, kde4, and Xorg. I have rebooted and reinstalled the system several timesx(. I am going to try this install using the directions given by Buttons in his solved thread. I am anticipating that I am still going to run into trouble. This system is not online and it takes quite a bit of leg work to get information and implement that information into the installation. Can anyone who has experience with FreeBSD 8.2 installation from DVD media please instruct me what I should do or be careful not to do?
