ZFS RE: Disaster Recovery with ZFS: A Practical Guide

This is about the latest post of a series of articles in the "Blogs and Newsfeed" forum hinting to Klara Inc..

This is only the latest example of marketing attempts where an interestingly crafted headline promises something you do not get when following the link.
What do you expect reading, when clicking on a link "Disaster Recovery with ZFS: A Practical Guide"?
Do you expect a practical Guide for recovering from a disaster or do you expect getting fooled by a company to read their advocacy?

If you got hurt, it does not help reading about prophylaxes. That makes people angry because it isn't helpful.

And it isn't even a practical guide for disaster prophylaxes as the "article" which is not really an article because is a list of features only.

So what's the benefit of those "Klara articles"? Who does profit?
Call it what it is: PR Marketing.

I've been intrigued enough to follow a few of these links recently, expecting some technical insight / config guides / recommended settings / etc.

I believe Klara have provided some beneficial involvement in FreeBSD but yes, it's frustrating to expect to get some useful information but only find a vague list of bullet points that just conclude with how their services/products are the solution.

Their posts have been like that for quite some time now. I've stopped reading them months ago because of this.

Which is a shame. Their early posts were great.
