so which adaptor is this 10 years old Linksys WUSB600N is the same chipset as MT7601U. So anyone purchasing a rebranded RALINK MEDIATEK MT7601U/RT2870 Chipset please buy the Linksys Adapter.
Theres a Driver and i think ive confirmed it is a rebranding and porting of the same actual ralink chipset just called mediatek..... i bought a generic card off amazon it literally just says wireless n wifi ... or 802.11n on it and thats its label and packaging. it connects to open networks but doesnt transmit or receive.. it can ssid scan... it cannot connect to my wpa2-tkip network.
im updating to head to see if theres been a commit past what's here.
