Thunderbird, but I used Evolution for years.

On that note, I just opened TB ESR and got a notification: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-release

I'd like to think they know better that someone using ESR probably has a reason and doesn't need a notification, but maybe ESR is straight-up not supposed to be used including Enterprise?

I wish it could be able to set the required IMAP/SMTP server settings for me automatically like Thunderbird does.

I am a Thunderbird user, recently switched to ESR version because I didn't feel like using the beta mail/thunderbird.

The machine in claws-mail does not work for mail.eclipso.de (SMTP). I manually start everything. For me it is not critical.
