I don't think I can pull it off with ADS1115. I have some already so it is viable but I will need a voltage divider circuit due to Battery Voltage being greater than 3.3V GPIO or 5V from buck.
There is not room inside for much here. I need to enlarge some. I had to start at the very basic. I may do a basic system shutdown after XX Hours. Work up to monitoring voltage in the future.
I have a trail boot-up of 3 hours. Voltage dropped to 8.05V from 8.4V in that time. I had no system load or GPS module attached. Just trying out the toy. Batteries never got warm during discharge.
I will reduce cores and use a custom Poudriere Image build once I get a working setup with gpsd and gpsdloggerd.
I cannot solder well and I have no oscilloscope. That never stopped me. That you all for the technical schooling. I am open to any and all suggestions. The junk batteries in pix are just for shop use.
Battery sleds needed filling out for sizing. I had started with single 4S and changed to 2S2P.
