Packages missing for 14.x

Hello all

I have upgraded recently my remaining 13.x systems to 14.1 and noticed that some binary packages are available for 13.x, but not for 14.x. Seafile-server is for example one of these packages. At the end, it is not a big thing as I installed it from ports, but I am wondering if there is a reason why the binary packages are not available for 14.x.

Could be build issues. You can check here: https://portsfallout.com/

It unfortunately doesn't report if a certain package is skipped due to failing dependencies though. For example package B might be missing because a dependency package A failed. There would be a report for A but not for B.

If you really want to see the actual builds, you can find those here: https://pkg-status.freebsd.org/
You do need IPv6 access to be able to view the actual build logs, the build servers are only accessible via IPv6.

… Seafile-server is for example one …

Now available in latest and quarterly, according to FreshPorts.
