Options for installing FreeBSD on a Windows 10 LaptopI

I would like to install FreeBSD on an old Windows 10 laptop, but not sure how.

There is no option for booting from USB, the laptop does not allow the use of a different hard disk other than the one that came with the laptop.

I can use Windows Disk Management program for shrinking a volume on which I would like to install FreeBSD, but how could I install a bootloader?

Read the laptop manual to see how to change the boot device and disable the secure boot.

If you are using BIOS/MBR, I believe you can boot FreeBSD from the Windows 10 bootmgr using bcdedit.

I advice to use legacy boot

Note : IF Secure boot is enabled on the laptop it will only boot Microsoft certificate branded Operating system ( windows )
Removing Secure Boot ( security settings ) is first task

CSM setting, BIOS CSM (Compatibility Support Module) If laptop has CSM option turn it on to see all possible disks and boot settinngs in BIOS BOOT menu.
