I had this port compile error many times but I forgot what causes this:

configure:5086: error: in `/usr/ports/ftp/curl/work/curl-8.20.0':
configure:5089: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details

Yeah, you are config.log. Explain...
 
Nevermind. I forgot the glib20 and gobject-introspecttion make FLAVOR=bootstrap commands and lib activation. They really should add a warning.
