I install gnome 2.24 and I dont have System-Administration-login window. I think its not install. but i don't the right package to install. please help!!!!
I think it is gdm. That provides /usr/local/share/gdm/applications/gdmsetup.desktop, which is the System->Administration->Login Window menu item.
I don't run 2.24 anymore (decided to stay with 2.22 for now), but I seem to remember this menu option was no longer there when I was running 2.24. Instead, I think at your login screen you should be able to find an option to edit the login window - which is the same thing that menu option would have done.
If /usr/local/sbin/gdmsetup exists, run it as root for the same window.
ok I have update about that i the gnome 2.22 use gdm 2.20 and probably the next freebsd release whith gnome 2.24 gone use gdm 2.20 linux programmer have same probleme this probably the gnome teem fault but i intall gdm 2.20
