I install gnome 2.24 and I dont have System-Administration-login window. I think its not install. but i don't the right package to install. please help!!!!

I think it is gdm. That provides /usr/local/share/gdm/applications/gdmsetup.desktop, which is the System->Administration->Login Window menu item.

I don't run 2.24 anymore (decided to stay with 2.22 for now), but I seem to remember this menu option was no longer there when I was running 2.24. Instead, I think at your login screen you should be able to find an option to edit the login window - which is the same thing that menu option would have done.

If /usr/local/sbin/gdmsetup exists, run it as root for the same window.

Here is a similar problem in a different os:

Maybe you can by editing /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf (I'm on a 'driva box ATM. The path might be different on BSD).
