no audio at all freebsd-16-current

well i tried 16-current and found some bug fixes and new bugs anyway one of them is that no audio at all

system is able to detect sound devices correctly

kirolos@freebsd:~ $ dmesg | grep pcm
pcm0: <NVIDIA (0x00a7) (HDMI/DP 8ch)> at nid 4 on hdaa0
pcm1: <NVIDIA (0x00a7) (HDMI/DP 8ch)> at nid 5 on hdaa0
pcm2: <NVIDIA (0x00a7) (HDMI/DP 8ch)> at nid 6 on hdaa0
pcm3: <NVIDIA (0x00a7) (HDMI/DP 8ch)> at nid 7 on hdaa0
pcm4: <Realtek ALC897 (Rear Analog)> at nid 20 and 24,26 on hdaa1
pcm5: <Realtek ALC897 (Front Analog)> at nid 27 and 25 on hdaa1
pcm6: <Realtek ALC897 (Internal Digital)> at nid 17 on hdaa1
kirolos@freebsd:~ $

but no sound devices detected when trying to change device with kde

also using
sysctl hw.snd.default_unit=n

for manual change does not help much so is there something i am missing?

Most recent version (at this time of this post) is 15.1-RELEASE

With 16 you are tinkering with some CURRENT - yet not finished but still under development - version.
It's like you are moving into a building still under construction and then wonder/complain why there is no roof, no plumbing, no carpets, no furniture ... why it's not finished built, yet. Well, Duh! The building still is under construction, so of course it's not finished, yet.
