Always start with the FreeBSD handbook which you can find on the FreeBSD website in the top right corner. The handbook is an up to date manual, where as some guides or videos could be out dated info. Make the Handbook the first place to always look for info on how to set something up. The handbook is a big strength of FreeBSD, well written info.
In the Linux world the Arch wiki is king
If you don't understand the handbook, there is good folks here on the forums to ask.
Do you have a working internet connection?
Installing Xorg should be just Installing one package that pulls in a bunch of other packages.
