Moving from GhostBSD to FreeBSD

useradd, adduser, yeah, they look much the same.

On Ghost that works find but somehow it will not start on FreeBSD. Can it be that a displayport (not using hdmi) is part of my problems?

What kind of graphics card are you running on? You might have to install graphics/drm-kmod to get a framebuffer driver that works with your device.

No problem. Been doing that for a long time and it often was a resource for more nice things to know. No problem with reading them. Been using Linux since 98 or so and had to deal with Tru64, HP-UX and Aix a bit too

Nvidia RTX 2060, but it is running fine now. Including the drm-kmod

Time to more to a bit more experienced part. I had an internal network running and use cbsd for vm's. Maybe not ideal it was ok for me. I had this rc.local ( I need to check backups) that made taps, etc....
What is a good resource for this? The handbook?

I had in mind to migrate as a planned event. GhostBSD more or less forced me to move there early
