Moving from GhostBSD to FreeBSD

:) true, not a bad thing, but I could probably do better than throw manual pages at you. If it seems like RTFM, it's not intended. Sorry.

useradd, adduser, yeah, they look much the same.
No problem. Been doing that for a long time and it often was a resource for more nice things to know. No problem with reading them. Been using Linux since 98 or so and had to deal with Tru64, HP-UX and Aix a bit too

Time to more to a bit more experienced part. I had an internal network running and use cbsd for vm's. Maybe not ideal it was ok for me. I had this rc.local ( I need to check backups) that made taps, etc....
What is a good resource for this? The handbook?

Have you tried the main page? GitHub gives <https://bsdstore.ru/>, which should redirect to a page in a suitable language/locale.

Also, I guess that you're here already:

Side note: for people who might have missed a key point on page 1, maybe edit the title here to show that you're using FreeBSD instead of GhostBSD (not a move, as originally envisaged).

I had in mind to migrate as a planned event. GhostBSD more or less forced me to move there early
