Moderator approval?

First time I've seen this message on a response I've added, so begs the question What did I do/say? Is this a side effect of anything? I've seen the pfSense forums getting slammed with spam over the past week, something similar happening here? More curious than anything else.

Edit: Never mind. I didn't realize the thread I was replying to was moderated.

I had similar for some of my posts.

Additionally I had a message saying that my registered email address (@live.co.uk spam account) was not accepting emails. So I had to change it to my other (@gmx.com spam account) and verify it before I could post. Something a little odd is going on.

Everything in the howto section is moderated. That always seems to trip people up.

Weirdly, my moderator approval (and email issue) actually happened on this thread which wasn't in the HOWTO section.
