Maybe you could also press all of the relevant multimedia keys in sequence, and then attach the full output from usbdump along with a list of the keys in the order pressed.

Unfortunately as soon as I bind uhiid to 1.4 the keyboard stops responding completely.
 
OK, it looks like Gnome 47 knows how to use this keyboard. It works perfectly under it whilst labwc does not know anything about it. Oh well...
 
Okay, very strange. Is that with uhidd or without?
It means the keypress events must be getting through to Xorg somehow.
 
After a few days of testing I can say that I'm impressed by how well this keyboard works under GNOME/X11. Out of the box I can use:
  • multimedia keys;
  • volume keys;
  • search key;
  • home folder key;
  • settings launcher;
  • touchpad enabler;
  • "show desktop" key;
  • monitor setup key (I used it once and I will never use again, though, as it reset all my multi-monitor preferences and I had to go through all that again).
A few keys behave very strangely, in the sense that they get recognized and can be setup but they refuse to work when invoked:
  • sleep (just doesn't do anything);
  • tools (duplicate of "settings");
  • explorer (duplicate of "home folder").
Also, the swipe gestures can be used to move between the activity screens and the application pages.
 
Well, that's a completely different story. :)
I'll still try to set up sound control in sway via Fn. Maybe version 14.3 will save the day.
