What do I need to install to make FreeBSD look like Linux Mint?

Hi,

I suppose you are talking about the appearance, if you dig into this repository you should find what you need (themes, icons and settings).
I didn't try it but it looks nice, just pick what you like and apply it to your installation.

I made the same mistake. Cinnamon... it's not Mate desktop. There is always gnome-look.org.

Yes it's made for Cinnamon but doesn't it work with MATE as well? It's all GTK after all. There is even theming for Xfwm4 in the package.
