laptop 8540w resolution screen with nvidia driver

Hello to all i'm new on freebsd system, I have already searched but without success, as in object I have a HP8540W with nvidia quadro FX880M and Nvidia-340 driver installed.


I don't know how I can decrease the resolution of my screen, because honeslty the resolution seems working fine but dimensions of all windows and charatters are very big [in attached an exmaple of my configuration and resolution I have in full desktop]

KDE has a settings app to set the display resolution.

What's reported? (I don't doubt that it's fine, but I'm curious.)

With Display Configuration you can scale up, which will worsen things (see below), but not down below 100%.



It might be necessary to alter DPI, maybe with help from an NVIDIA-provided application.

I had similar issues with NVIDA when using different Linux distros.
Could be an DPI issue.
Maybe you can use nvidia-settings with x11/nvidia-driver-340?
