keyboard and mouse don't work under windowmaker

I am sorry, but since last year I had to stop using FreeBSD (which I used for 3 years and was OK) because the PC just died so after a Long time I finally I am on road again and now when I use startx to run my windowmaker, there is no keyboard or mouse. I already added the dbus and hald to rc.conf just like always but it doesn't work. Any other thing to do so I can work as usual?

Since you were able to install windowmaker and edit /etc/rc.conf the problem must be in X windows. I would start by reviewing /var/log/Xorg.0.log and posting the output if you have questions.
