I am running KDE 6.4.1 installed from ports on FreeBSD 14.3. Originally using X11 but now using Wayland, but the behaviour remains the same regardless which one is used.
Since KDE 6.4.0, I cannot use short key combinations such as 'Ctrl+C' and 'Ctrl+V' without KDE crashing out back to the login prompt (my case SDDM). But the funny thing is that using left-click menus, I am still able to copy and paste, just cannot use the keyboard shortcuts.
Using 'Ctrl+Alt+Del' results in whole desktop/graphics freezing, but the underlying FreeBSD OS is still running as I can use the power button to gracefully shutdown the system. I think the 'Ctrl+Esc' to bring up the application menu results in KDE crashing out to the point the Application menu disappears and the desktop wallpaper disappears to a black background, but open windows are still functional. But the 'Windows' key still opens the application menu without causing the problem.
It is as if any shortcut key combination that uses or begins with the 'Ctrl' key will result in undesired behavior.
I find this super weird and frustrating.
Anyone else exeriancing this problem?
