KDE 4.3 on ports: When?

Hi,
I'm new to FreeBSD and I'm willing about the ports updates, in particular KDE 4.3.

I'm on Kubuntu right now and 4.3 will reach it only on the next release... what about FreeBSD?

Being version-less (in a Ports perspective, at least...), it should not take that long, should it?

thank you very much

KDE4-4.3.0 was released on August 4!

KDE 4.3 was released today!
Hopefully its packages will be in ports by 8.0-RELEASE at the end of August.
What a time!

The port you need is x11/kde4. Depending on your machine it will probably take a few hours to compile everything.

I loved Gentoo when I used it but now I've no doubt: FreeBSD is the way!

I loved it: no delay! It just released and is already there!

I was running FreeBSD on VirtualBOX but now it showed it *really* deserves a partition on my disk and all my attention :)

I'll install it today and hope I'll get it ready for use in a few days...

Thank you all for the great job (whoever 'you all' are...)

I spent those hours with no luck: qt4.5.2 couldn't be installed because of missing share library "gstreamer-0.10.0" during qt-phonon and qt-gstreamer installation.
As I heard gstreamer supposed to serve Gnome while xine works with phonon for KDE4. Usually config options are available to mark xine for installation and leave gstreamer unchecked. This time this option screen is unavailable.
Could somebody explain what's going on and how to proceed?
