Is the security of OpenSSL 1.1.1w supported on FreeBSD 13-releases?

Hi Forum,

With the EOL of OpenSSL 1.1.1w and still being the default version in the FreeBSD 13-releases, I would like to know whether the security of OpenSSL 1.1.1w is supported on the FreeBSD 13-releases. I am on FreeBSD version 13.2 and use packages in jails, and packages like Python are built on OpenSSL 1.1.1t.

Yes. It's part of the -RELEASE and thus falls under support of the security officer. Estimated end-of-life of 13 is somewhere in 2026.
