Solved Is mac mini m1 supported?

Given the completely undocumented Apple proprietary chippery, I would not be holding my breath. On the other hand, I understand some have had success running FreeBSD under Parallels on the M1 Mac mini with 1 CPU assigned as there's an issue with more at the moment.
 
Zxombie's work requires Hector's bootloader, as mentioned in the second tweet. I guess somebody does care enough to develop in parallel.
