Is anybody else interested in the ThinkPad x13s?

Orange Pi 6* are the cheapest fast enough boards available ~250Euros @ aliexpress / board + powersource+cooler + 16GB ram
im sure freebsd won't work properly on it but maybe linux is good enough to use and run freebsd vm-s on it
last time i checked linux powersaving did not work great on them
if you don't want to build arm ports/packages there is no advantage on having an arm desktop/laptop write now

I tried FreeBSD 16.0-CURRENT main-n288280-a8347f442824 GENERIC and get the same behavior, including with:

load /boot/kernel/kernel
load /boot/kernel/zfs
load /boot/kernel/iichid.ko
load /boot/kernel/hkbd.ko
boot

However, I can offer an odd consolation prize: Hyper-V Manager works on this system

Install it as a option if needed.
Download a release engineering VM-Image in .vhd format
Point at it and disable secure boot and checkpoints.

Graphics integration is not available on FreeBSD so the display options are someone terrible, offering a framed window or a smaller "full screen" mode.

However, you can install xrdp/tigervnc-server/xorgxrdp and connect with the Microsoft client for a full-screen experience.
