More than "interesting lyrics", the intriguing aspect is that you cannot separate the song from the lyrics. It is like separating a western of Sergio Leone from the sound-track of Ennio Morricone, or listening to a Shakira pop song without knowing she is hot

Misheard lyrics may be funnier. For years I thought Michael Jackson, when singing, Keep up with the Force don't stop/Don't stop till you get enough" was singing "Get up, to the Post Office/And drop that letter off". As we seem to have lots of older folks here, I remember in the 60's or maybe 70's, Mick Jagger saying something to the effect of they wanted people to buy the sheet music to get the words, but the sheet music had the words wrong too.
