If you were an Unix / FreeBSD tool, what tool would you be ?

As a human individual I do not want to be a tool.
I do not want to be used as a tool.
I do not even want to think that I could be any tool.

man,no one wants use you or see you as a tool. The mechanism invoked here is called "mirroring". The point is to understand which tool of Unix is able, more than any other, to mirror a side of your personality. Even the opposite is true : which side of your character is mirrored by a specific unix tool. It's only a funny game.

Isn't it enough to ask what UNIX tools you like to use or create?

The continuation of the inspiration:

As a human individual I do not want to be a commodity.
I do not want to be used as a resource.
I do not even want to think of human resources.
I will print out posters of these and hang them on my walls with the Wikipedia links fully expanded. Thanks getopt!

For the record, I did not say this without quoting, and would never plagiarize someone else's art.

I would have to be audio/rhythmbox, mainly just because I use it all the time and could not live without it. Although everything is starting to move to streaming and I am starting to use Apple Music more and more, I could not do without my massive collection of mp3 files that I have been accumulating since c. 2006, dragging it along to each new installation of Linux/BSD via external hard drives, etc... I use rhythmbox all the time, and I listen to music all the time, rhythmbox being my much preferred player over all those years.

Funny question, well I think I would be find(1) because there is always a question popping in mind that needs an answer, and then the quest is on.
But I also would be test(1) because right after getting my answer I like to compare, check, and play with my new toy.
