i915kms failes to load

on an old install after upgrade it fails to initialize a new Samsung Odyssee G5 Monitor or the X server is broken. I did a fresh install and as a lack of a serial console I post the page fault page shown.

I'm using FreeBSD now for five years, went through thick and thin with this system but now it seems useless to build anything. xf86-video-intel, latest, failes to compile and with the drm-sources on the github it compiles and searches in /usr/src for a file not being available - kernel built GENERIC.

Any suggestions?

16-CURRENT

What GPU? UHD 630 worked fine for me about a month ago 16.0-CURRENT with Intel Xorg DDX (installed from pkg, forced with xorg.conf snippet instead of default modesetting)

graphics/drm-kmod fails to build from latest /usr/ports and from github-sources, as the kernel built in /usr/src misses some compiled files, I can't recompile this kernel, means: it builts the whole stuff in 10 seconds without any real compilation - it's the same kernel provided as in updates.

I have a Intel UHD Graphics 630 and a macmini 2018 T2. I tried modesetting instead of xf86-video-intel but same result - crash and dumping out.
