ZFS How to boot FreeBSD on physical machine from a zvol?

I tried this on linux. I installed slackware on an ext4 zvol, and made a zfs initrd, then add
zpool import -a -N
mount /dev/zvol/zroot/linux in the init.
I want to know, how to do this on FreeBSD with ufs?
