I'm creating FreeBSD 13 templates for use with Virtualizor (KVM).
I've already installed and activated qemu-guest-agent, and changing the root password works normally when the VM is online.
The problem is:
From what I understand, qemu-guest-agent can only apply the password while the system is running, and there's no way to save the change for the next boot.
My idea is to have a FreeBSD template for creating VMs in Virtualizor that accepts the password entered in Virtualizor both during creation/rebuild and when the VM is powered off.
Has anyone faced this or have any native/practical solutions for FreeBSD?

The problem is:
- If I change the root password in the control panel while the VM is powered off, and then power it on, the password isn't applied.
- When reinstalling the VM through Virtualizor, the password entered in the control panel isn't set either.
